Ed and Jess Dunnett with mugs of coffee outside the Onshore Cellars shop

Our story

Founded by Ed & Jess Dunnett.

Onshore Roasters was born from more than a decade of life at sea. Jess, a barista in Australia before she went yachting, spent nine years hunting for good coffee in port. With Ed, she built the supplier they had both wanted: specialty coffee, roasted to order and delivered to your home or wherever the boat is. The same people behind Onshore Cellars.

How it works

The hard part is the logistics. That's our problem.

Tell us where it's going, your front door or the boat, and we handle the rest, including the customs paperwork when it leaves the EU.

  1. 01

    Pick your coffee

Three blends: one for every day, one to linger over, one without the caffeine.

  2. 02

    Tell us where

Your door, your office, the berth, the agent or the marina office.

  3. 03

    We roast it

To order, then straight out. Never off a shelf.

  4. 04

    Reorder in a click

Same beans, same schedule, wherever you've moved to.

From the boats

Trusted by crews who can't afford a bad morning.

We've tried every coffee supplier in the Med. Onshore is the only one that delivers consistently fresh beans to whichever port we're in. The crew morale boost is real.

When charter guests compliment the coffee, you know it's good. A specialty-grade product we're proud to serve, and quick reordering means we never run out mid-trip.

Deliveries to Antibes, Palma, Nassau and Fort Lauderdale without a hitch. The tracking keeps me informed and the quality is always spot on.

1 kg

of ocean plastic recovered for every kilo of coffee shipped

Ocean plastic

A kilo out for every kilo shipped.

For every kilo of coffee that leaves us, a kilo of plastic is recovered from the ocean through CleanHub. It's a small thing next to the scale of the problem, but it scales with what we sell — which felt like the honest way to do it.
